  4. Evaluate the members according to the five categories: focus,contribution, involvement, presence, attitude. 5 is the highest, 0 the lowest.
  5. Don’t give a 5 if that person deserves the 5 score.
  6. Sign the Form, Pass this to Maam Tata.

Block B: Saturday, March 20, 2010: 3:40 pm – 4:40 pm, LAB D

Final Requirements

Final Project Presentation

  1. Please schedule your project presentation. Find time between March 18 to 19 from 10:00 to 4:30 (30 minute interval each group.
  2. Please bring your pre-project check-up list.
  3. The Rubrics for the Project is as follows:
    • Formation Aspect - Quality of Work, Learnings from the Project, Work Ethics and Cooperative Work
    • Functionality Aspect – Project Specification, PHP Coding, Database Usage, Add-Edit-Delete Function, Search and Sorting, Log-in Mechanism, Feedback and Error handling.
    • Features Aspect – Content, Graphics and color, Lay-out design, Fonts and Tables, Navigation.
  4. On your scheduled presentation, please secure the following in a brown short envelope. (use 8.5 x 11 bond paper, 1 inch margin, font type Calibri or Arial size 12 for your documentation)
    1. Rubrics for Final Project  Score Sheet (3 pages) [Grade Rubrics]  <—download sheet here
    2. Group Member’s Evaluation sheet (1 page)
    3. Revised Project Brief
      • Cover Page (1 page)
      • Project Overview(1 page)
      • Hardware and Software specifications (1 page)
      • Intented users of the website. (1 page)
      • Website Features and Capabilites (1 – 2 pages) (what can it do?)
      • Website Limitations (1 page) (what it cannot do?)
      • List of Members and their contribution to the project (1 page)
      • Revised Site Map (1 page)
      • ER Diagram and Data Dictionary (1 page each)
  5. Please come 15 minutes before your scheduled time. A 1 point deduction shall be given to every minute late. This shall be deducted under the FORMATION aspect category.
  6. Please install or setup your project before your scheduled time. Bringing a laptop is an advantage. A 10 point deduction shall be given to groups who setup the project on their schedule time. This shall be deducted under the FUNCTIONALITY aspect.
  7. No-show groups forfeit their chance to present their project, thus, automatically getting an F for the project.

It is time to integrate what you’ve learn in PHP+SQL:

Make a Web application that will maximize the PHP+SQL technology.

1. The website should be user-friendly, simple and attractive.

2. The website should do the following functions: Add, Update, Delete and View Data

3. The Database should use more than two tables, which is interlinked with each other.

  • Project Brief – an introduction of your project (10 points)
  • Flowchart or site map (20 points)
  • ER Diagram with Data Dictionary (2o points)

March 11-13: Project Presentation

  • Form (Web Design, User Friendliness, Attractiveness) (20 points)
  • Function (Does it deliver the necessary requirements of the task) (30 points)
  • Features (Additional Points will be given to added features) (10 points)

Hospital Billing System – Chaves’s Group (block b)

expected output:

    • There should be modules for
      • Client Information System
      • Billing System for
        • Room Rent
        • Medicine Expenses
        • Equipment Use (MRI, CTScan etc)
      • The Site will produce an Billing System for the Client

Point of Sale System – Group Luraratz  (block b) and Esling’s Group (block a)

        • Entry form of items being sold and its’ price

          • An inventory of Products being sold (bonus!)


Simple Enrolment System – Culanag’s Group (block b) and Mr. Go’s Group (block a)

          • upon entry, students can enroll to a subject
          • also, students can view all subjects enrolled in the semester
